Pokemon illustrator trading card is considered the rarest card in existence and only 39 were produced back in 1998 and were given to the winners of a CoroCoro Comic Illustration Contest for Pokémon.
Weiss Auction raised eyebrows when they sold this exact copy of the card and was sold at auction for $195,000 as per auction spotted by Kotaku but including the buyer’s premium it got sold for $224,250.
